
The above photograph shows the typical high quality keywork on a Rudall Carte wood flute. These keys are Silver plated German Silver. The non fingered keys are of the pointed construction. Keywork of the non pointed type in Plated German Silver were also common. Solid Silver Keywork was also common and usually pointed and of a slightly different design
